唐崇榮牧師安康說明禱告信
感謝所有關心我父親健康的弟兄姊妹。唐崇榮牧師現在正在主持馬來西亞柔佛新山的佈道會。昨天午餐過後，他出現眩暈和冒冷汗的狀況，他的血壓超過180。唐崇榮牧師拒絕前往醫院，堅持盡速回到旅館下榻以便休息。您之前看到他躺在救護車床上的照片，是在他回飯店途中拍攝的。
那天晚上是新山佈道會的最後一天。特別在距離佈道會不到幾個小時的時候，知道唐崇榮牧師將不計任何代價前去佈道，許多弟兄姊妹為他的健康禱告（為此我們表示感謝）。在旅館休息到當地時間晚間八點左右，他站上講台，開始對大約4000名與會聽眾佈道。為了克服眩暈，這位上帝的僕人站著，以閉合的眼睛佈道超過一個半小時。在佈道最後，大約500名聽眾回應了講台的呼召。實在地，上帝的恩典是夠他用的，因為祂的能力在他的軟弱上顯得完全。（哥林多後書12章9節）
唐崇榮牧師休息了一整晚。未來兩天他將再繼續佈道行程。讓我們禱告上帝給他力量和夠用的恩典。為各地的籌備委員會和與會者代禱。禱告上帝在祂從永恆預定作祂兒女的人中做工。
我們也要感謝當地籌委會的關懷。

附註一：許多人傳播了唐崇榮牧師躺在救護車上的照片。知道在他心中，這樣的事情不甚令他他喜悅，為此請停止散佈那張照片。我以這張新張貼的照片代替－－人們，不分老少，回應講台的呼召，將他們的生命獻給上帝。歸根究底，我們所發生的事情並不重要。重要的是上帝在任何條件和情況下使用我們，惟獨為了祂自己的榮耀，如此而已。
附註二：一則較早的更新宣稱唐崇榮牧師被帶到醫院。事實上，唐牧師拒絕被送往醫院。他希望在旅館休息，救護車是將他送回旅館。我也張貼這張翌日上午拍攝的照片，他看起來已經十分健康。感謝上帝也謝謝大家的代禱。讓我們繼續為今晚和接下來的佈道會禱告。

Thanks to all brothers and sisters who were concerned about my dad's health. Rev. Stephen Tong is conducting gospel rallies in Johor Bahru, Malaysia (November 18-20). Yesterday, after lunch, he experienced vertigo and started to have a cold sweat. His blood pressure was above 180. Rev. Stephen Tong refused to go to the hospital, insisting that he be rushed back to the hotel so he may rest. The picture you saw him laying down in an ambulance bed was actually on his way back to the hotel.
That evening was the last day of the Johor Bahru gospel rally. Knowing that Rev. Stephen Tong will do, whatever it takes, to preach, many brothers and sisters prayed for his health (and we thank you for that), especially given the gospel rally was only a few hours away. After resting in the hotel until around 8 PM local time, he stood up in the pulpit and began to preach to around 4000 people in attendance. To overcome his vertigo, this servant of God stood and preached with closed eyes for over 1.5 hours. At the end of his preaching, roughly about 500 people answered his altar calling. Truly, God's grace is sufficient for him and His power is made perfect in his weakness (2 Cor 12:9).
Rev. Stephen Tong has rested overnight. He is going to preach again for the next two days (November 21 and 22). Let's pray God gives him strength and sufficient grace. Let's pray for the next gospel rallies. Pray for the local committees and those attending. Pray that God works among those whom he has ordained from eternity to be His children.
We would also like to thank the local committee for your care.

PS: many have circulated a picture of Rev. Stephen Tong laying on the ambulance bed. Knowing what's in his heart, such a thing displeases him. So please stop spreading that picture. I am posting this picture instead. People, young and old, responded to the altar calling and give their lives to God. At the end of the day, it matters not what happens to us. What really matters is God uses us in whatever condition and situation. For His glory alone. Nothing more. Nothing less.
PPS: An earlier version of this update stated that Rev. Stephen Tong was brought to the hospital. In actuality, Rev. Stephen Tong refused to be brought to the hospital. He asked to rest in the hotel and the ambulance brought him there. I am also posting the latest picture of him taken this morning. He looks very healthy already. Thank God and thank you for your prayers. Let's pray for the gospel rally at Bakri Junction Ballroom tonight.
